Message From Our Chair

Welcome to the Department of Dermatology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. We are proud of the accomplishments we have achieved in our first ten years as a department. We desire to provide high quality patient care, excellent educational programs, and opportunities for research and the advancement of ideas.  Our faculty, staff, residents, and fellows desire a patient-focused practice supported by a culture of teamwork and service. Currently, our faculty consists of 13 members and a total of 15 clinical providers. We have specialists in Mohs surgery, cosmetics, dermatopathology, pediatrics, cutaneous lymphoma, allergic contact dermatitis, complex medical dermatology, and inpatient dermatology. There are currently 12 residents and 2 fellows in our training programs.  We have a nationally recognized rural training program based in Louisville, MS and have a satellite clinic serving in Rolling Fork, MS. We continually look for opportunities to grow in our mission to provide Mississippi with the best dermatologic care. Thank you for your interest in our department.
